Update 1/26 New comic? and "Soleus" part 2

My toilet got drunk and vomited. Yeah. Few days later, the toilet did that again.

So for the weekly update on 1/26/26, posted on 1/29/26.

So, with such a poem, there is one thing: Lack of simplicity, lol.

Like, the themes being addressed so far are:

-Cyras' hesitation (this being her "soleus").

-The moral failures of Owlis.

-Cyras dislike of heroes.

-Ophelia.

So let's go down each of these more deeply.

Cyras' Soleus: Cyras' major flaw, at least by her standards, has become hesitation, her fear. She's done many things, but none are bringing her closer because she keeps wanting truth on her terms versus getting truth on someone else's. Snofall and Owlis aren't trustworthy sources, but is going into the catacomb for a fallen nation really her best chances?

Owlis' failures:

Obviously, her phrasing herself as non-suicidal is a way to absolve herself. I think she'd find herself innocent like Ophelia, wherein her family members are fighting. But in reality, she's literally got the major flaw of Hamlet. I imagine her going full Dark Karma while carrying the skull of [THE GAMEMASTER], (if I remember, I will update this with the character by the time the story is released, lol).

Heroes

Cyras hates how everyone wants what they want as "best for her".

Ophelia:

The victimization, or the innocents hurt.

Fire is also meant to be a motif throughout. Like a city burning. Cyras used her fire early on in story as a boost and now this becomes her main attacks.

Unfortunately, these are all pretty big themes, all that could probably have their own poem. I might have to cut some of these though.

Well, anyway, I experimented with better lines, put in ().

To be or not to be never was the question.

(Admire my fire's light, for yours flickers to end)

For who are you to question my flame when yours ends?

(And even with no crisis of faith in myself)

I was in lack of crisis for the faith in myself

(Quaint "heroes" rescue to profit for theirselves.)

(I question "heroes" who profit for theirselves )

I question rescue from heroes who want for theirself.

Who saves the damsel from the savior's evil?

(She drowns by the visions of fallen brethren.)

Who drowns by the visions of fallen siblings

(Ophelia, ophelia, ophelia-a-a-a.

None of these lines are final, still. Next verse, same as the first.

(Are arrows nobler self-inflicted, slings prettier)

Are arrows noble, slings so great, self-inflicted

Than fortune's seas of troubles, wanting call for ends

Refusing sleep and dream, odd sight to see by now

The visions rising death, men still dancing to song

Paradise's pointless when you see who's clamoring

Yet Earth is struggling, hatefully with cynicism

The thing is, referencing Hamlet isn't always easy, especially when in a different meter than he was. However, new throwback to Ancient Mariner with "odd sight", "visions rising".

I didn't really care for the end part of "hatefully with cynicism", and I wouldn't even show that at all if I wasn't doing progress reports.

And hell, for fun, here's more versions:

Are arrows and slings more noble when self-inflicted

Than fortune's seas of troubles demand an end

But I refuse to dream, about a new paradise

When I see the people who will meet me then

What is the point of paradise when I want to go away

But the struggle of earth is also a fault.

Are arrows noble, slings graceful self-inflicted

Than fortune's seas of troubles calling for an end

But I refuse to dream, chance to shuffle away

The wounds are wounds, and blood is colored the same way.

There's never really a shortage of attempts at writing. As a small writing lesson: Oftentimes first thoughts are the most cliche, so you really need to grind the stones.

This last part is definitely completely getting tossed out, and is only a placeholder for rhythm:

We rummaged

and scrummaged

with nothing to show

and we went so low

And what we unleashed from the ground

and from what was within us . . .

I see the burning men and cities, wishing for justice

Never acknowledging their own illusions of heroism

Only generated by mirages of their own propaganda paradises.

Who saves the hero at the end of fairytales

Who saves the hero from the savior's evil?

Who hesitates by the visions of fallen fathers

The first stanza is meant to give off the impression of energy or almost speech to the emptiness. She isn't really going to be telling anyone (even though in this play she's telling everyone), so much as Cyras is rhetoricizing herself, and the fallen men.

NEW COMIC!?

AlienLizard123 and I are co-writing a comic of sorts! Or "Magazine" as I say, about our characters meeting. I'm not entirely sure how far we'll get, but I will try to post some storyboards next week.

 https://www.deviantart.com/alienlizard123/art/Space-Foxes-1200483535 his official characters list.

Yup. Cyras at the Edge of the world of peoples and into the Violetspheres. Comic planned to be 22 pages. Still scripting.

And yes, Cyras is totally eating them out of house and home, obviously. She fuels her fire in some type of way.

How to end these articles, hm,

 https://www.deviantart.com/saviorfoxowlis/journal/N-Era-Play-Story-Update-1-19-Soleus-1289044486

 here's the previous part.

Encylopedia Wysdomica

Encyclopedia Wysdomica is an in-universe lore book. Everything is seen from the perception of people from Wysdom and her associated territories. While everything is factual, there will still be bias from those who don't wish to be smited by the imperial family

Crimsons are a species of bipedal mustelid species that mostly have red fur. They can be upward of 60 inches, and can reach a weight of about 200 pounds. Some species have tails. Hands and feet have opposable thumbs.

Crimsons originate from the planet Vytyl like Oranges. Theories speculate the name of Crimsons came in tandem with Violets and Oranges, but no-one can say so besides the theory being ranked "really freakin' obvious" by Lavandar Tech Institute.

Crimsons have several unique abilities to them. Alongside Violets, they also have the ability to truly distinguish between fellow species and subspecies and discriminate. For example: If a dirus wolf lets a fox into her pack, she will inevitable treat the fox as one of her own. And if a dirus fox of the Illyrian subspecies met with a dirus fox of the Malaise subspecies, they will get along. However, Crimsons may discriminate between Otterines and Minkites, but even Valarrian Otterines may discriminate against West Dhumese Otterines.

Crimsons also have more of a propensity to commit in wars. The most famous for this is Otterines with several various empires like the Otterman Empire and the Rose Empire.

The two above traits were very well noted during the Lupegarthe invasion. They separated the dirus foxes and wolves in an attempt to make them fight amongst themselves instead of against the persecutors, but the dirus didn't understand the point and instead ripped apart their "masters".

Crimsons are poisonous in blood. They are typically polygamous, with many crimsons living underneath a household being raised by above generations. In the Wysdom Empire, polygamy is only permitted at Luxworth, a known "safe zone" for crimson culture.

They have a diet nearly as wide as dirus, from herbs to meats. There are thoughts they may prefer tropical environments because of body type, but this isn't proven true.

They have had several major nations in history:

The Rose Empire is one of the most well-known empires in history, being one of the only true rivals to the Wysdom Empire. Operating from the Dhuma landmass, they were able to sends ships of to take over many different areas in Vytyl and Voto. The Empire was highly dominant until Rhett the Tamer attempted to sack the Seventh Kingdom of Wysdom.

During that moment, according to legend:

At the Temple of Golden Tears, Queen Sumhyr judged Rhett the Tamer through a game. He had to learn who was willing to backstab him. He failed the game, and as punishment, Queen Sumhyr turned him to gold.

Afterwards, the Rose Empire never truly had the same mass as various parties fought for dominances, eventually leading to the severing of the Rose Empire during the Grand Claiming.

Luxworth in Wysdom is widely regarded as an offshoot of the Rose Empire. The area is well-known for academic excellence, having had a major university established by Rhett the Tamer where he sent his own daughter.

Luxworth is tropical and has one of the best educational systems in the world. Three of Wysdom's best universities and two of the best in the world may be found there.

Abilities:

Crimsons can hang upside down for extended periods of time, have opposability, and also have great sight, touch, taste, smell, and hearing. However, they are incredibly sensitive.

Crimsons are notoriously easily to defeat by sensory overload if necessary. This makes them weaker to light or lightning mages.

Crimsons have great throwing ranges and are greatest at being archers of any species besides Violets.

Vocabulary:

Grand Claiming - a period post the year 9000 where Owlis took over both Voto and Vytyl.

Author's note: Anyone who read N:Era Worlds: Tunnels Under Wysdom knows that Rhett the Tamer actually died because he WON the game against Sumhyr. He proved he knew what staff member betrayed him. So Sumhyr rewarded him by dropping boiling gold on him.

Lore Recap - the Summer-Autumn War

As a note: This is only going over stuff that has been canonically mentioned and only the parts mentioned.

Grand Claiming Era:

Empress Owlis of Wysdom took over all the land in Vytyl and Voto. Queens Sumhyr, Ryvoh, and Snofall all held their own territories around this time.

Hundreds of years later, there was the

Relinquishing:

In a gradual process, Owlis surrendered the idea of being the worlds' monarch and instead began giving land back, even land that belonged to the various queens.

Queen Sumhyr, owner of the Seventh Realm and Sunnyvilla, grew annoyed as her own territory was stripped away from her without permission. So she gathered the other two seasonal cousins, Ryvoh and Snofall. The three goddesses began a war to oppose Owlis.

66 years ago:

The war began. Sandrun and Luxworth stay back to protect the main kingdom city-state of Lavandar.

In Glacialane, Ryvoh's rebellion is countered by the sub-rebellion launched by Raynfall.

Luxworth begins developing secret depots and train stops where supplies can be unloaded in a hidden manner.

64 years ago:

-Owlis wins the initial war, leading to a brief respite. Most of the seventh kingdom has fallen.

-The previous queens are slowly replaced, and Sumhyr, as the leader, is exiled, while Raynfall takes over.

-Sumhyr, in exile, begins the next part of her plot.

31 Years ago:

-Sumhyr returns for a new round of fighting, however, she is pregnant.

-Ryvoh and Snofall join in with these efforts.

-At a final stand in the Seventh Kingdom, Owlis corners Sumhyr, but Sumhyr unleashes a blast that obliterates an entire city. After this, she vanishes, never to be seen again.

-Cyras Sumhyr is born.

Several years ago:

The leader of the rebellion, Sumhyr, dies in the Wilds.

Recently:

Cyras Sumhyr enters Wysdom.

Owlis tracks her scent back to Ryvoh and captures Ryvoh.

Miscellaneous:

Sheerwalls, Glacialane was apparently a part of the war. Their side is unknown, however as they're from the "floodlands", they may actually have been on Ryvoh's side as the floodlands were largely loyalists to Ryvoh.

-Queen Jazmyn the First dies during the war, leaving Queen Jazmyn II and Queen Jazmyn the III.

Current gaps in Cyras' knowledge:

-How does a god die and is Sumhyr actually dead?
-Why did Owlis perform Relinquishing or Grand Claiming?

Daily Deviation - and Future of N:Era

Here I am, listening to Fleetwood Mac, and now I've got a Daily Deviation for N:Era Worlds: Tunnels Under Wysdom, Chapter 1.

I think my opening won them over, as Sumhyr is definitely one type of fox.

So, for those of you who haven't read yet: Tunnels Under Wysdom is both a standalone story and part of the N:Era storyline. The story revolves around entering the ruins of Aegisvale, the lost kingdom of Sumhyr/Cyras' mama who kinda rebelled against the entire Wysdom Empire.

In short-term one-story perspective: This story is a dungeon-crawler wherein Princess Lilu of Team N:Era gets cut off by Queen Jazmyn. Therefore, the rest of the N:Era cast joins in to help regain fortune by delving into the Tunnels Under Wysdom.

In a longer-term perspective: After Cyras has found out her cousin Kryyk has come back to life (after she was the one who took him out), she goes seeking for answers. Queen Jazmyn tries to retain Lilu's Princessly Allowance as a punishment for standing against her during Cyras' trial (on the matter of whether or not Cyras attacked General Bloodstone). And finally, Kryyk returns, looking for a "key". Characters from the last story "Call of the Wolves" re-appear, such as Wasting and Snofall.

Okay, so, now that I've got a Daily Deviation, I want to talk about my future plans for N:Era. I've already got this story ready, and am doing final edits on later chapters as we speak.

But, what's going to occur in the future for more N:Era is this:

Another short will be coming out. There is no official name, but here's the

Synopsis: Cyras learns about Nyghtfall, the shadow fox who lives in a Chateau in Rosaberg. She helps him when his business is being attacked by a counterfeiting scam, but as they try to learn more about the perpetrators, they become inevitably mixed-up in the affairs of La Sorciere - a new faction to the N:Era universe. La Sorciere is basically this organization who performs banned rituals and spells, trying to advance the study of magic by any means necessary.

The story also has plenty of portions focused on Nyghtfall's past in an era inspired by the Age of Sail. We will learn a lot about his various crimes in the past but can Cyras actually redeem him?

The next Novella is called Sands of Ascalon. Sands of Ascalon will be about the region of Ascalon, part of the Ascalonian Desert. Team N:Era enters Ascalon for help in a diplomatic manner, but find that no one wants to help them, especially as they're being besieged by the Fangs of Liberty. However, looking even deeper, the walls to keep the siegers out start being the walls to keep the people in. Team N:Era has to stop the tyranny within and beyond the walls, or else let everything be lost to the sands of Ascalon.

After that is a story called Archives, Ascension, Apotheosis. This story involves one of Luxworth's universities, a place of higher learning. One of Rosod's family members gets framed for Plagiarism, but oddly enough, other people have been found to be "cheating".

A twist on a "murder mystery" that goes into the world of Academia, including political machinations behind who gets grant money, who gets laboratories, and who gets support. Nothing is sacred, not even knowledge proper.

This story will include characters such as:

Rosaura: One of Rosod's older sisters who is a shining, bright soul, but is getting crushed by the current of the academy right now. On the year she might graduate.

Rosetta: Rosod's eldest sister. A cynical and jaded Professor who finds negativity anywhere she goes, and yet, knows her own arrogance. Lonely and lost, she wants to take on the case for herself, but also wants to support Rosod, thinking she has everything necessary to also become part of the University.

For the fifth Novella of N:Era Worlds, we've got "Beginning of the End" as the proto-type name. Cyras gets invited to a ball and a show, but mysterious goings-on occur, and Cyras finally learns more about the mystery of her own divinity and the truth of why her mother left her.

For the sixth and final novella of N:Era Worlds, we got--

"I never knew the truth," Cyras said, "but I always knew the lies."

Owlis asked, "And so you're saying . . . "

"Empress Owlis, tell me the next step."

"You refuse to leave me even after learning everything?"

"I promise I will serve you, for right or wrong."

"Why?"

Cyras' smile almost seemed genuine as she said, "Because you're the only one I've got left."

Also, like Cycle 1 and how we had "Liberty of Fangs", there will also be an epilogue story known as "The Final Fight On the New World".

Synopsis: Winners and losers is a simple term. Black-and-white. However, the flag of victory looks like a checkerboard because either value is on either side. Victory must come with the greatest loss, and failure must come from the sweetest triumph. Only those who have understood this can truly master their destinies and be the authors of Fate.

Okay, so is that going to be the end of N:Era?

Truth is, I don't know. I don't think so. This is only Cycle Two (Worlds) of N:Era. I've got plans for more.

Actually, speaking of more, lemme introduce my new Spin-Off, "Underlife".

"Underlife" is a series about Misty. This story focuses on her life after the events of "Vixen of the Dead" where she tries to find a new home for herself. But after a prohibition on alcohol is placed by Queen Raynfall, crime is much more rampant, and with an increase of crime is an increase of spectral activity.

Misty, the ghost destroy, has to tame spirits and handle members of dangerous organizations, but she's not alone. She meets a fox named Sunny, and the two form a team to counter the horrors of Glacialane, while exploring this insane world.

Underlife is focused on a bunch of people who have been wayward in life but come together as the "Weather Team". Or Disaster Team. Regardless, time to fight ghosts and save lives! This will also focus on what a person might experience in their daily lives in the world of Voto, as opposed to N:Era that centers on gods and nobles.

Underlife is still in the research and development phase and the ideas for plots and characters are still being sketched out. The story will have a limited run of such-and-such length before ending.

Anyway, thanks for reading in advance, if you do.

Vixen of the Dead is finally out

After several long months of work, Vixen of the Dead, my new *Novelette is out.

*Technically this could also be a short story, but is one-thousand words too long.

So, should you read this?

Vixen of the Dead is a story about Cyras and her own cousin, the enigmatic Misty. After the Queen Raynfall incident, Cyras is tasked with returning a crystal of emotions back to Misty and breaking her suppressor crystal. However, instead, the so-called Vixen of the Dead chooses to have no emotions. But the reasons why go back to a traumatic past that Cyras must unravel the secrets of.

Vixen of the Dead is ultimately about self-sacrifice versus authenticity and genuine friendship. The more pleasant interactions between Cyras and Misty go against the backdrop of secrets within the walls of Sheerwalls and a past better forgotten. The story is also about depression, and how we behave in a self-antagonistic way.

In the scheme of the wider plot of N:Era, Vixen of the Dead serves as a partial catalyst for Cyras' own growth.

Finally Finished Call of the Wolves! . . . Now What?

So I finished Call of the Wolves! Now all that's left is my Halloween story "Murder, Cyras Wrote", and then I got Tunnels Under Wysdom and . . . and . . .

Well, that's a lot of stuff to do. But what's going on?

So writing this did teach me a few things. While I've been writing for over fifteen years now, there's always more to learn. For example, I think my fight scenes are getting more as well as my prose. I tried to make the flow better and the world more vivid. I wanted more of a breathing world. I will explain further in an article called "The Depressive Worldbuilding of Glacialane", but essentially, this was all a test of my worldbuilding and now emotion-writing.

Personally, this actually isn't one of my favorites. I would actually put this right in the middle. I had a lot of fun writing Fangs of Liberty and Where We Lie, but I guess odd novellas always gotta leave me going "hm".

Anyway, what's done is done. Thank you to everyone who is reading.

Call of the Wolves Blurb

The worst emotion of all is the lack thereof.

After the recent death of her cousin, Kryyk, Cyras is filled with questions about the royal family. Do they truly have immortality as claimed, and if so, how did her mother die? There are too many flaws in Empress Owlis' "explanation". Regardless, she will follow the Empress to the end.

The Queen of Glacialane, Raynfall, lets her tears fall from the heavens, slowly flooding her kingdom. As Cyras and Team N:Era journey throughout the kingdom, they're opposed by the Howlers who work for the mysterious Ethereal King, and another mysterious wolf who's against all factions.

To stop Raynfall's flood, she has to understand the melancholic she-fox before every city is washed away, but how can she understand her when she doesn't even understand herself? And she also needs to survive the truth of the Ethereal King and the secret of the call of the wolves,

N:Era: Call of the Wolves is an Animal Fantasy exploring themes of godhood, depression, and forces beyond one's perception.

Sample Pages:

Cyras never talked about her emotions. As she organized her cards, she grimaced at a few of the spooky dark ones that mentioned death, and thought that might not be appropriate for the next playing session. Would the others judge her? This wasn't the first time she was touched by death, not by a long-shot. Her father left her, and when he didn't return the following Spring, her mother explained he had died while wandering. And if everybody in her life was lying to her, she still had blood on her paws whenever she went out hunting, anyway.

The glow of the television bounced on the walls of the treehouse. Someone knocked. Rosod entered along with Lilu and Ahmond, so the entirety of Team N:Era was here. Cyras said, "Oh, you're all here . . . again."

"Owlis told us you would be here," Rosod said.

"Yeah, looks like you're ready!" Lilu said, seeing Cyras with her cards.

"I guess. Give me a few minutes, just play among yourselves."

The news mentioned Glacialane was facing severe flooding, one country was now re-emerging from beneath the sea, and the show Feed Me got cancelled after the host, a reclusive billionaire, was found to be a cannibal.

"This is sick," the officer said, holding up a chocolate dire wolf. "Sick I tell you! Sick!"

Cyras blinked a couple of times. "Riiight. Is television supposed to be this stupid?"

Lilu shrugged. "Nah this is pretty smart for the channels we get."

A news anchor said, "Glacialane officials advise everybody to stay in-doors, as this year's howling seems to be taking place in the Spectral Woodland Wilds. Queen Raynfall has only spoken on the issue in relation to land ownership . . . "

"What is the 'Howling'?" Cyras asked as she wrote a few lines on a notebook.

Lilu said, "Kinda this old folk tale. Every Spring, there's this Ethereal King, who attacks people. Those who survive being captured by his pack return with severe bites. No one's ever really seen his true form, but some survivors say that the looks they got, is he's apparently very inky."

Ahmond said, "Some say he's not even a wolf. My grampa said he heard the Howling a couple of times at his farm."

"I thought your grandpa lived in Chesniy," Cyras asked, pointing out how far the Ethereal's reach would have to be.

Lilu said, "The Howling has been heard in Aplepsis, Valarri, even Skya."

Cyras skeptically said, "If he has followers, you'd think at least one of them would have been interrogated or drop the whole truth."

"The attacks are pretty recent," Lilu said. "Like only 50 years ago. And I think his pack is wilders, so none of them are reporting anything to Civic authorities."

Cyras nodded. "We'll leave that to someone else."

"Nah, let's just throw a pretty foxy at him," Lilu said teasingly. "Speaking of foxies, I can't believe Owlis is really making us use this old place."

Rosod sat. "What are you writing?" she asked. "Card formulas?"

"Yes."

"You want any help?"

"Uh, no, thanks."

Ahmond asked, "Cyras, are you okay? You've been acting a little, down lately, maybe because of you-know-who."

"I am a bit."

Lilu said, "Hey, we're here for you, and we're glad to see that you're still doing pretty well. You have a great emotional resiliency than most of us, that's for sure."

The girls thought she was broken up about the death of Kryyk, but she hadn't even done anything wrong. She took out someone to protect the ones she loved.

They played cards for a few hours, until everybody left, the first one being Cyras. She slumped onto her bed.

That morning, she felt groggy and in a stay-in-bed-the-sheets-are-warm mood. However, she knew Owlis was expecting her over for breakfast. She exited her tower, made her way down into the main building, and followed stairs towards the back of the castle where dining arrangements were.

The sight of her friends and dignitaries greeted her. Owlis sat at the head.

"What's with all the guests?" Cyras asked, and hopped on the seat next to Owlis. Weirdly, this wasn't jam and tea or grapes and biscuits, but gravy and potatoes. A chicken sat in the center.

Cyras immediately wanted to go all reachy, grabby-grabby, but she wasn't that type of person anymore. She ordered a servant to bring her a piece.

Owlis said, "Cyras, we were planning to have this meeting earlier, but you didn't come in the morning. Can you explain why you missed breakfast?"

". . . I missed breakfast!?" The fox nearly panicked. She could almost feel darkness in the corners of her vision, but if she fainted now, would she also lose lunch!? How many calories would she deprive herself of? How long until you just . . . die? Oh wait, she's gone days without food in the wilds, she would be fine.

"Why didn't you wake me? Why didn't you all drag me out of bed? What time is now? Is this dinner? Was I awake yesterday!?"

"Cyras, Cyras," Owlis said, placing a paw on her shoulder. "Firstly, last time someone woke you up, we weren't able to clean the red out of the carpets, and I'm starting to run out of staff. Nextly, you just missed one meal. There are even leftovers. You can have them."

Cyras, immediately placated, said, "Okay! Where are they?"

"Focus, my girl," Owlis said. "Everyone said they could stay for lunch. There was a letter given to your room last night. I'm not sure why you didn't read that."

"I might have been asleep," Cyras said sheepishly.

"At 21:00?" Owlis muttered. "Anyway, we're on an emergency talk about the flood that's going on in Glacialane."

"Oh yeah, the flood," Cyras said. "Why is there a flood anyway?"

Owlis said, "Because of Snofall's sister, Raynfall. You met her during your birthday. I can feel her manifest the magic."

Cyras nodded. "Okay." How big was Glacialane? A few towns?

Owlis said, "Several towns are starting to flood in the northern lowlands and all throughout the entire kingdom. Millions are impacted by this, as are over a thousand towns and cities."

Huh, weird, bigger than she had thought. Not that she really knew how big a bunch of cities were, still getting accustomed to this whole "Civic-living" thing as opposed to living in the Wilds.

"Anyway," Owlis said, "We're not sure why Raynfall is doing this. We're not sure if she's lashing out because of Snofall's re-emergence, if she's trying to keep herself safe from something, or if she's been dumped by her boyfriend."

"Seriously?" Lilu asked.

"Last time she was dumped was 500 years ago." She muttered, "We still haven't recovered that city. Anyway, Cyras, you're the only Ascended who hasn't upset her, plus you're adorable, so we've decided you should be sent to investigate why she's acting the fool."

"Please," one dignitary said, "the rainstorm has been going on for several days now. My roof is leaking and my children have swim classes but the institute has been shut for flood warning."

Lilu remarked, "But in that case, can't they like, just go outside then?"

The dignitary grunted until staring thoughtfully at the ceiling.

Owlis said, "As is typical, I will be providing your tickets and transportation. Prospect, Glacialane's capital, isn't near a major portal network, the easiest way is for all of you to appear at Backport, and work your ways up."

Cyras said, "We'll be ready in a minute! After breakfast-lunch!"

Chapter 6 is out!

 https://www.deviantart.com/saviorfoxowlis/art/N-Era-Worlds-Call-of-the-Wolves-P6-Tears-of-a-God-983153696

Tears of a goddess.

Wherein Raynfall reveals that she thinks the world sucks in general and that we cannot trust Owlis because she will break you.

This chapter took 26 days. That's low-key shocking. While I wasn't paying attention, I had no idea this was 26 days!

Well regardless, I know that the final parts will be out within this month according to my scheduling. They've already been written mostly.
